I’m not confused about anything at all. It’s perfectly clear to anyone who can read that I believe a democracy needs to identify threats like that presented by the German Nazis in the 1930s. There’s nothing even vaguely controversial about this, especially as the investigations and charges against the AfD members involved are open to public scrutiny. You believe the Muslim Brotgerhood presents a similar threat? Well why don’t you show why, you great heaving mass of medieval misery?

Pickle is now confused as to whether he should support banning political parties he doesn't like, banning political parties who want to ban political parties, supporting the nazis in Ukraine, banning the nazis in Germany or supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in trying to overthrow the democratically elected government on Germany.

Wait til he hears about the Irish immigration problem.....

There’s a line between demonstrating for a caliphate and secretly working for a hostile foreign power while being a member of parliament, Twundle. Such a shame you have existed all this time without working this basic stuff out.

Speaking of Germany, were you in Hamburg over the weekend, Hamas & Pickled?

Pickle spent most of the weekend deciding which ritually slaughtered swan to buy from his halal butcher.

Of course, nothing screams democracy more than the islamic caliphate.

I hope you enjoyed yourself there, Hamas & Pickled.

Yup Twundle - Germany is a democracy and it seems there were 1100 prepared to turn up to a pro-Muslim Caliphate protest rally. You reckon they’re gonna burn the Reichstag in a false flag op soon?

I genuinely couldn’t give less of a toss about how you misinterpret both the past and present, you miserable cunt. Fact is, there was an opportunity to ban NASDP before it dismantled the political system in Germany in the 1930s but the weak, divided establishment missed it. It’s good we seem capable of learning from our mistakes.

Self-awareness not a trait in Poland.

Wasn't there a political movement in Germany that banned the opposition in the 1930s?

Re: The war in Ukraine
Actually the recent development that ought to be focusing our attention is all about a real “denazification” taking place in Germany. Seems the authorities there have finally grown some balls and learned a lesson from history because they are finally going after the AfD at the right level (it is a party made up of cynical opportunists). No wonder the SBT are making a noise trying to get us to look the other way

Re: The war in Ukraine
There's no reason to think that. Ukraine were starved of ammo for months and Russia only crept forward a little bit. Ukraine are getting a fresh supply, and a lot of it, and it includes good stuff that will outgun the Russians.
Plus the main aims of the SMO include disarming and "denazifying" Ukraine. The former won't happen. The latter is just bullshit for propaganda purposes.

Situation on frontline has worsened, Ukraine army chief says

By George Wright
BBC News
Ukraine's commander-in-chief has said the situation on the frontline has worsened in the face of multiple Russian attacks.

Oleksandr Syrskyi said Ukrainian forces had withdrawn from positions in the eastern Donetsk region.

Russia is trying to take advantage of its superiority in manpower and artillery before Ukrainian forces get much-needed supplies of new US weapons.

The US last week agreed a $61bn (£49bn) package of military aid for Ukraine.

But new US weapons are yet to make their way to the frontlines, where Ukrainian troops have been struggling for months with a shortage of ammunition, troops and air defences.

"The situation at the front has worsened," Gen Syrskyi said in a post on the Telegram messaging service on Sunday.

He confirmed Ukrainian forces had withdrawn from some of their positions in an area of Donetsk that had formed part of a defensive line, established after Russia captured Avdiivka in February.

Much of the fighting has been taking place around Chasiv Yar, a Kyiv-controlled stronghold which Russia has been trying to reach after seizing Avdiivka.

New defensive lines had been taken up further to the west in some areas, with Gen Syrskyi conceding the loss of territory to the advancing Russians.

Moscow had secured "tactical successes in some sectors," he said.

Gen Syrskyi added that rested Ukrainian brigades were being rotated in those areas to replace units that had suffered losses.

Russia's defence ministry earlier on Sunday reported its troops had captured the village of Novobakhmutivka, around 10 km (6 miles) north of Avdiivka.

Gen Syrskyi became commander-in-chief of the country's armed forces in February.

It followed speculation about a rift between his predecessor, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Earlier this month, Gen Syrskyi warned the battlefield situation in the east of the country had "significantly worsened".

The commander of Ukraine's National Guard, Oleksandr Pivnenko, said this week that he was expecting an attempt by Russian forces to advance on Kharkiv, Ukraine's second city, which is near the Russian border.

US President Joe Biden this week signed off on a $95bn (£76bn) package of aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan after months of gridlock amid opposition to the aid from some in Congress.

The Senate passed a similar aid package in February, but a group of conservatives who oppose new Ukraine support had prevented it from coming to a vote in the House of Representatives.

On Friday, the Pentagon said it would "rush" Patriot air defence missiles and artillery ammunition to Ukraine as part of its new military aid package.

Between February 2022 and January 2024, the US gave Ukraine more than $40bn in military aid, according to German research organisation, the Kiel Institute.

That’s a joke financial breakdown. Or someone has had a mental breakdown doing their sums. Either way, you’ve had a mare on this thread again, SBT2-AG.

Re: The war in Ukraine
So what happens when this new huge sum of U S Tax payer money is spent? Is that when NATO steps in and declares war on Nuclear Russia?

———

A lot of it is already spent.

‘Subject to revision, initial reports of the composition of the $61 billion indicate $23.2 billion of it will go to pay US arms producers for weapons that have already been produced and delivered to Ukraine. Another $13.8 billion is earmarked to replace weapons from US military stocks that have been produced and are in the process of being shipped—but haven’t as yet—or are additional weapons still to be produced. The breakdown of this latter $13.8 amount is not yet clear in the initial reports. One might generously guess perhaps $10 billion at most represents weapons not yet produced, while $25-$30 billion represents weapons already shipped to Ukraine or in the current shipment pipeline.

In total, therefore, weapons already delivered to Ukraine, awaiting shipment, or yet to be produced amount to approximately $37 billion.

The remainder of the $61 billion includes $7.8 billion for financial assistance to Ukraine to pay for salaries of government employees through 2024. An additional $11.3 billion to finance current Pentagon operations in Ukraine—which sounds suspiciously like pay for US advisors, mercenaries, special ops, and US forces operating equipment like radars, advanced Patriot missile systems, etc. on the ground. Another $4.7 billion is for miscellaneous expenses, whatever that is.

In other words, only $13.8 billion of the $61 billion is for weapons Ukraine doesn’t already have‘

Never mind about me, SBT1 - consider the GOP, which is now split on Ukraine after Trump tried to peddle it for your divvy vote like a Fentanyl whore. Tell me, which part of US public opinion still buys the crap about US taxpayers' money going to waste pursuing a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine. Have they got any teeth left? Do they even know their own name?
